Refurbished Brass Marine Warning Horn. Based on the excellent quality, materials used, and the design, this horn was likely built in the mid-xxxx?s by MESCO MARINE SUPPLY COMPANY based in New Jersey. This prestigious company has been making marine hardware in the U.S. since xxxx. This type of horn had a variety of uses aboard ship including warning other vessels, general alarm, gun turrets, and phone ringing in noisy areas. It measures 7" Long x 5" Wide x 7" Tall, weighs 5 pounds, and has the original ?MESCO? tag attached. The construction is solid brass with a tin diaphragm and 12 volt motor.
